here we go again with the mantra of "if we say it enough, even though it's a lie, hopefully people will eventually believe us"…

quite honestly, no American politician has this kind of gall or gumption to stand up to the Socialistic principles that are springing up in America…
It is quite sad actually…
The mainstream press provided wide coverage when President Barack Obama said equipment maker Caterpillar would rehire laid-off workers if Congress passed his stimulus package.
But the media were relatively quiet about that claim when Caterpillar recently announced that not only would it not rehire workers, but was cutting additional jobs.
Caterpillar Inc., the world’s largest maker of construction and mining equipment, announced 22,000 job cuts in January, and later offered early retirement to another 2,000 employees.
On Wednesday, Feb. 11, The Associated Press reported in a widely disseminated story that Obama said “Caterpillar has informed him it will rehire some of the thousands of workers it has laid off in recent weeks if Congress passes an economic stimulus bill . . .
“The president’s travel to pitch the urgency of the stimulus plan was his third day in a row to leave Washington. On Thursday, he goes to Peoria, Ill., to visit a Caterpillar manufacturing plant.”
But on March 17, The Associated Press reported that Caterpillar announced plans to lay off more than 2,400 additional workers.
“In the latest cuts,” AP stated, Caterpillar “said 2,365 support and management workers had been notified of layoffs expected to last at least six months . . . and 89 workers will be let go permanently.
Among the affected workers are 911 employees at the Caterpillar plant in East Peoria.
Caterpillar “also said more layoffs may be needed as the year continues,” according to the AP — which made no mention of Obama’s earlier statement about the company and the stimulus bill.

Shortly after class, an economics student approaches his economics professor and says,
"I don't understand this stimulus bill. Can you explain it to me?"
The professor replied, "I don't have any time to explain it at my office, but if you come over to my house on Saturday and help me with my weekend project, I'll be glad to explain it to you." The student agreed.
At the agreed-upon time, the student showed up at the professor's house. The professor stated that the weekend project involved his backyard pool.
They both went out back to the pool, and the professor handed the student a bucket. Demonstrating with his own bucket, the professor said, "First, go over to the deep end, and fill your bucket with as much water as you can." The student did as he was instructed.
The professor then continued, "Follow me over to the shallow end, and then dump all the water from your bucket into it." The student was naturally confused, but did as he was told.
The professor then explained they were going to do this many more times, and began walking back to the deep end of the pool.
The confused student asked, "Excuse me, but why are we doing this?"
The professor matter-of-factly stated that he was trying to make the shallow end much deeper.
However, after the 6th trip between the shallow end and the deep end, the student began to become worried that his economics professor had gone mad. The student finally replied, "All we're doing is wasting valuable time and effort on unproductive pursuits. Even worse, when this process is all over, everything will be at the same level it was before, so all you'll really have accomplished is the destruction of what could have been truly productive action!"
The professor put down his bucket and replied with a smile, "Congratulations. You now understand the stimulus bill."
this website does a great job of breaking down exactly what is in the Porkulus Bill of 2009.
I wonder what Obama's definition of a "pet project" and an "earmark" are?
He stated emphatically that this bill contained none of those.
I guess we are back to the day so of "it depends upon what your definition of is is"…
so, you think this $800,000,000,000 stimulus is going to help you out when its passed do you??
i mean that is what the MSM and Nobama is telling you isn't it??
so that has to be the case….
WRONG!
800 Billion Reasons To Be Worried
it is shameful and downright unlawful for the government of this great nation to pander off Socialism in the name of "recovery"…
If you don't wake up and realize what is going on this country soon, you nor I will have the opportunity to do anything besides move somewhere else if we want to live with the idea we can become prosperous simply by working hard and "doing the right thing" as our grandparents and past generations have…
this isn't about Democratic or Republican anymore…
this is about the very fabric of our existence as a nation for more than 232+ years….
all of that will be gone in a matter of months should this current administration continue with its current efforts…
About half-way through President Obama's press conference Monday night, he had an unscripted question of his own. "All, Chuck Todd," the President said, referring to NBC's White House correspondent. "Where's Chuck?" He had the same strange question about Fox News's Major Garrett: "Where's Major?"
The problem wasn't the lighting in the East Room. The President was running down a list of reporters preselected to ask questions. The White House had decided in advance who would be allowed to question the President and who was left out.
Presidents are free to conduct press conferences however they like, but the decision to preselect questioners is an odd one, especially for a White House famously pledged to openness. We doubt that President Bush, who was notorious for being parsimonious with follow-ups, would have gotten away with prescreening his interlocutors. Mr. Obama can more than handle his own, so our guess is that this is an attempt to discipline reporters who aren't White House favorites.
Few accounts of Monday night's event even mentioned the curious fact that the White House had picked its speakers in advance. We hope that omission wasn't out of fear of being left off the list the next time.
Now that he finally has his own shown on an un-biased network, Glenn Beck is having some fun at the expense of the American people. For those buying into the "Attitude of Change" by your "Messiah" Obama, you really should wake up and realize what the Liberals are truly doing to this country.
