Meineke Car Care Bowl – ESPN 3:30 PM CST
24 Pittsburgh Panthers (9 – 3)
17 North Carolina Tar Heels (8 – 4)
Freshman phenom running back Lewis for Pitt will be the main focus of the Pitt offense. Carolina has a great defense, but they won't be able to stop Lewis and Pitt will win.

Emerald Bowl – ESPN 7:00 PM CST
13 Boston College Golden Eagles (8 – 4)
24 USC Trojans (8 – 4)
USC may be coming in on a down, but they will be prepared for the Eagles. Their D will stop the Eagles and their O will do just enough to get the win.

December 27, 2009
Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl – ESPN 7:30 PM CST
17 Kentucky Wildcats (7 – 5)
23 Clemson Tigers (8 – 5)
SEC won't get the win here. CJ Spiller will have another HUGE game. The Wildcats won't be able to stop him and the Tigers and the ACC get a "small dose" of revenge on the SEC.

December 28, 2009
Advocare V100 Independence Bowl – ESPN2 4:00 PM CST
17 Texas A&M Aggies (6 – 6)
30 Georgia Bulldogs (7 – 5)
Bulldogs are still looking for a new DC, but they will play inspired ball and do enough to stop the A&M offense. The Georgia O will be very good in Cox's last game.

December 29, 2009
Eaglebank Bowl – ESPN 3:30 PM CST
24 UCLA Bruins (6 – 6)
13 Temple Owls (9 – 3)
UCLA may be down, but their Defense will do enough to get the win against the Owls.

Champs Sports Bowl – ESPN 7:00 PM CST
35 Miami Hurricanes (9 – 3)
21 Wisconsin Badgers (9 – 3)
Miami has been up an down all year. A BCS Championship caliber team fell on hard times but came back strong. They continue the up swing here and beat the Badgers.

December 30, 2009
Pacific Life Holiday Bowl – ESPN 7:00 PM CST
10 Arizona Wildcats (8 – 4)
17 Nebraska Cornhuskers (9 – 4)
Suh dominates this game just like the Little XII Championship game. Look for the Huskers to come away in another defensive struggle. A Defensive TD is NOT out of the question here.

December 31, 2009
Brut Sun Bowl – CBS 1:00 PM CST
14 Oklahoma Sooners (7 – 5)
28 Stanford Cardinal (8 – 4)
The Cardinal D is just too strong this year. OU has no offense and their D won't be able to stop Toby. PAC-10 wins this battle.

Texas Bowl – ESPN 2:30 PM CST
17 Navy Midshipmen (8 – 4)
35 Missouri Tigers (8 – 4)
Mizzou is just too much for the Midshipmen. The Little XII North contender wins a blow out.

Insight Bowl – NFL Network 5:00 PM CST
13 Minnesota Golden Gophers (6 – 6)
10 Iowa State Cyclones (6 – 6)
Toss-up here. Who really knows on this one? Going with Big 10 because tougher competition in Big 10 than Little XII.

Chick-Fil-A Bowl – ESPN 6:30 PM CST
24 Virginia Tech Hokies (9 – 3)
13 Tennessee Volunteers (7 – 5)
The Hokies D is just too tough in this one. Tennessee is on the rise (if Kiffin can stay out of trouble) and they will be back soon. Just not this year.

January 1, 2010
Outback Bowl – ESPN 10:00 AM CST
27 Northwestern Wildcats (8 – 4)
31 Auburn Tigers (7 – 5)
The Auburn offense is just too much for the Wildcats to contain. Look for the SEC to move on up the Bowl Rankings after this game.

Capital One Bowl – ABC 12:00 PM CST
13 Penn State Nitny Lions (10 – 2)
24 LSU Tigers (9 – 3)
The Tigers defense will be enough to stop a rejuvenated Nitny Lion offense. Look for Jordan Jefferson to have a big game for the Tigers.

Konica Minolta Gator Bowl – CBS 12:00 PM CST
31 West Virginia Mountaineers (9 – 3)
17 Florida State Seminoles (6 – 6)
Bobby Bowden's last game will be emotional for sure. His first university and his last meeting for one last time for the legendary coach. The Mountaineers have too much D.

Rose Bowl Game Presented by CITI – ABC 3:30 CST
17 Ohio State Buckeyes (10 – 2)
30 Oregon Ducks (10 – 2)
The Buckeyes will once again be on the big stage. This time they don't have to play the SEC though. Oregon just has too much offense and they are playing very, very well right now.

Allstate Sugar Bowl – FOX 7:30 PM CST
24 Cincinnati Bearcats (12 – 0)
30 Florida Gators (12 – 1)
The Gators want to redeem themselves and Tebow won't let them lose two in a row on a national stage. The Bearcats are way down after being deserted by Coach Kelly.

January 2, 2010
International Bowl – ESPN2 11:00 AM CST
28 South Florida Bulls (7 – 5)
21 Northern Illinois Wolves (7 – 5)
The Bulls win a close fought and very good game.

Papajohns.com Bowl – ESPN 1:00 PM CST
34 South Carolina Gamecocks (7 – 5)
24 Connecticut Huskies (7 – 5)
The Gamecocks under Spurrier will be able to handle the emotional game that the Huskies will bring to their bowl.

AT&T Cotton Bowl – FOX 1:00 PM CST
24 Oklahoma State Cowboys (9 – 3)
34 Ole Miss Rebels (8 – 4)
Houston Dale returns to Dallas for his second consecutive year. This will the last though. He has to use his own players next year and not live on the players from Orgeron. We all know how this story goes.

Autozone Liberty Bowl – ESPN 4:30 PM CST
44 Arkansas Razorbacks (7 – 5)
20 East Carolina Pirates (9 – 4)
Mallett continues to show his improvement. He realizes he needs one more year and a chance to be the overall #1 pick in next year's draft. All of Arkansas rejoices.

Valero Alamo Bowl – ESPN 8:00 PM CST
23 Michigan State Spartans (6 – 6)
35 Texas Tech Red Raiders (8 – 4)
The Red Raiders continue their hot streak into the bowl. They will easily handle the Spartans this year and use it to springboard to a great season next year.

January 4, 2010
Tostitos Fiesta Bowl – FOX 7:00 PM CST
17 Boise State Broncos (13 – 0)
31 TCU Horned Frogs (12 – 0)
The Horned Frog defense is just too stout this year for the Broncos. TCU states it case for an undefeated and National Championship argument.

January 5, 2010
FedEx Orange Bowl – FOX 7:00 PM CST
14 Iowa Hawkeyes (10 – 2)
23 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (11 – 2)
So, who is gonna watch this game besides people in Aimes and Atlanta?? Wow, sorry for the matchup Orange Bowl.

January 6, 2010
GMAC Bowl – ESPN 6:00 PM CST
27 Central Michigan Chippewas (11 – 2)
38 Troy Trojans (9 – 3)
Troy has played the better competition and will prove it by slowing down the Chippewas and taking home the GMAC Bowl trophy.

January 7, 2010
CITI BCS National Championship Game – ABC 7:00 PM CST
6 Texas Longhorns (13 – 0)
28 Alabama Crimson Tide (13 – 0)
The Bama D will be tougher than anything the Shorthorns have seen all year. Including Suh from Nebraska. Bama has several Suh-type players all over their D. They will completely shut down the Shorthorns and Nick Saban will win his Second BCS Championship with 2 different teams.

Here it is folks.
Your chance to move WAY up or WAY down the final rankings for 2009.
So, here are 25 Bowls I deemed worthy to be on the Pick Em.
Good luck!

#16 Oregon State 33 @ #7 Oregon 37
Win and your in. The Rose Bowl that is. For the first time in the 112 year history of the Civil War, the winner would go to the Rose Bowl. Boy was it an epic battle as well. Not until late in the game when Oregon finally figured out that if you put pressure on Canfield, you can ruffle him and he won't be so accurate on those passes. Wow. Who knew? Now the Ducks head to the Rose Bowl where they will face the always over-rated Ohio State Buckeyes.

#5 Cincinnati 45 @ #15 Pittsburgh 44
Wow! Simply Wow! What else can you say about this game? I mean, after being down by 21 points, in the snow, did the Bearcats claw their way out and thanks to a bobbled snap on the PAT for Pitt ala Tony Romo did the Bearcats even have a chance. But Pike moved them down the field and after the PAT sailed through the uprights, who didn't think this would be the last game that Brian Kelly might ever coach as a Cincinnati Bearcat?? I mean, if he doesn't go to South Bend, I will be shocked out of my freaking gourd.

#21 Houston 32 @ East Carolina 38
For the second year in a row, the Pirates have proven that good defense will beat a gimicky offense any day of the week. Case Keenum did everything within his human power as a football player to win this game for the Cougars. But you can only do so much as a one-man team. Keenum threw the ball an astounding 75 times in the game. 75!!! He ended up throwing for 527 yards. Houston had 557 yards of offense total. That is only 30 yards on the ground. Not all that balance eh? Now East Carolina gets another high powered offense when they face the Razorbacks in the Liberty Bowl. Should be an interesting matchup.

#23 West Virginia 24 @ Rutgers 21
The Mountaineers withstood a furious 2nd half comeback attempt by the Scarlet Knights. After leading 21 – 3 the Mountaineers packed it in and almost gave the game away. A last second stand with an INT sealed the game for West Virginia. They now get to play Bobby Bowden and Florida State in his swan song. Yeah!

Arizona 21 @ #18 USC 17
I am really not sure what makes me more ecstatic. Hootie losing last week to finish out of the Top 25 after starting the year ranked #4 or for USC to finish not ranked in the Top 25 for the first time in the Pete Carroll era. Love it! That arrogant SOB deserves to fail every now and then. Helps keep up humble.

#19 California 10 @ Washington 42
Can you spell C.H.O.K.E.??? I mean really. How in the world does Cal go to Washington and lay a colossal egg like they did? Wow. Just flabbergasting to me to even think about. Hey, why not give the Heisman to Jake Locker?? He deserves it more than that idiot Shorthorn. Speaking of ….

#3 Texas 13 @ #22 Nebraska 12
In what would have gone down as one of the most improbably upsets in the history of football and one of the most bone headed clock management moves since Les "Spike" Miles in Oxford two weeks ago, how did Colt McCoy and Texass win this game?? How?? I know one thing, no way I tell Ndamukong Suh he can't have the Heisman Trophy if he wants it. He had 12 tackles and 4 1/2 sacks in the Big XII Championship game and I promise you that Colt McCoy is still have nightmares after Suh literally tossed him 5 yards like a rag doll on way sack. Wow! Nebraska would be a powerhouse … IF they had an offense.

#10 Georgia Tech 39 @ Clemson 34
The story was all about Georgia Tech finally winning an ACC Championship Game and going to a BCS Bowl for the first time in the schools history. However, that story was almost upstaged by one player. C. J. Spiller. Holy crap what DIDN'T this guy do for Clemson??? He rushed for 233 yards and 4 TD. The Jackets couldn't stop him at all. He was a beast in his going away ACC party. I am sure Georgia Tech is glad he is gone ;)

South Florida 27 @ UConn 29
The Huskies lost 5 games this season by a total of 15 points. Total. Trailing 27 – 26 Dave Teggart kicked a 42-yard FG as time expired to give the Huskies the win and end the season on a 3 game winning streak. The Huskies have battled adversity all season long and it was good to see them end the year on such a high note.

Tie-Break (Give the Score)
#1 Florida 13 vs #2 Alabama 32
So this game was supposed to go down to the final seconds. It didn't. The Little XII Championship was supposed to be a blow out. It wasn't. So here we sat in the Georgia Dome. Bama found some offense it didn't even know it had and Florida couldn't find anything it thought it had. In the end, Tebow cried, Saban chest bumped and Bama waltzed into the BCS Championship game. So the classy Bama fans that they are printed up t-shirts with Tebow crying. Stay classy Bama (if it's at all possible in your trailer park lifestyle you represent). Enjoy Saban. Enjoy the success. Bobby Petrino and the Hogs are coming …

Brick of the Week (BOTW)

So this week, we had 19 contestants picking games. Of those 10 games, there were two that would qualify as a BOTW pick. So to add some salt to an already tough wound I am sure. I am going to award the BOTW to Mr. Jason "I was in Mexico last week" Shirey and Mr. Ben "Man what a TOUGH week for my picks" Gilbert for their heart-breaking picks of Pitt to beat Cincinnati. You guys were one fumbled PAT away from OT my friends. Sorry. But hey, you were in Mexico when no one else was! Well, Ben wasn't ;)

Pick of the Week (POTW)

This is unprecedented, but it is extremely rare. An individual can qualify for both the BOTW and the POTW. This week, we had that happen. And there is honestly no way I can award this POTW without also giving it to the same individual who received the BOTW. So, the POTW for their picks of Arizona over USC, goes to Mr. Jason "Apparently they haven't heard of ESPN in Mexico yet" Shirey and Mr. Damon "Rendevous is awaiting me before the Liberty Bowl" Hill. Congratulations Jason.

Champion of the Week (COTW)

Well, once again the average correct picks this week was 5.18. Yes just a smidge over 5 this time. But we did improve by an entire 0.5 over last week. We did however this week have someone get 8 of the 10 picks right. Just one though. So no tie-breaker was needed. Thank goodness because he, like many others, were kneeling at the altar of Tebow and he let his faithful down. That game and the egg that Cal laid in Spokane were the only picks this individual missed for the week. Therefore the COTW for Week 14 is Mr. Damon "Sorry but Agent Chaos is the best HDN knickname in the history of knicknames!" Hill. Yeah me.

Here they are, finally!!!

#3 Texas 49 @ Texas A&M 39
Some are saying Colt McCoy may have won the Heisman Trophy with his performance against that 110 ranked defense out of 112 in the country. Really??? If that is the case, why not give the Heisman to Dan LeFevour. He had better stats and played against better competition. Just because you play for the most overrated team in the history of sports doesn't mean you should be a Heisman Trophy frontrunner.

Illinois 36 @ #5 Cincinnati 49
Cincy held up their end of the bargain for next week's showdown with Pitt in the de-facto Big East Championship game. Can the Panthers do the same (see below)? Also, now with it all but official that Charlie Weis is gone in South Bend after his loss to Stanford, when does Brian Kelly get the call?? Does he answer it?? He would be stupid not to, IMO.

#2 Alabama 26 @ Auburn 21
War Eagle pulled out all of the stops and for the first quarter they had the jump on Bama. However, after the D settled down, the Tigers only scored 7 more points the remainder of the game. And with an epic championship drive, McElroy pushed Bama to the SEC Championship game with a perfect record. If Mark Ingram doesn't win the Heisman, he can blame Auburn. Just like Darren McFadden back in 2007.

#9 Pittsburgh 16 @ West Virginia 19
Stewart finally got his "signature" win as the Mountaineers head coach. And it couldn't have come against a better opponent for him. The epic Backyard Brawl was punctuated by superior defense and great play all around. So now, the next week show down at Hines Field has lost some of its luster. Will Pitt respond?

Nebraska 28 @ Colorado 20
Suh and the Cornhuskers setup their matchup with Texas next weekend in the Big XII Championship game. Will they be the sacrificial lamb that everyone is predicting? Can Suh dominate in that game like he has so many games before? Will Colt McCoy have a great performance against a real defense? Lots of questions answered next weekend.

Georgia 30 @ #7 Georgia Tech 24
So, the ACC is all hyped about getting to flex its muscle this weekend against lower-tier SEC teams leading up to the ACC Championship game. Jackets get JawJa at home and look to take out some pent up frustrations. But oh wait. The Bulldogs were playing for their embattled DC. They showed up to play and did they ever. The Bulldogs send Willy Martinez out in style by upsetting the triple option Jackets and embarrassing the ACC yet again.

#25 Ole Miss 27 @ Mississippi State 41
So about that pre-sesason #4 ranking. Yeah, well, that was WRONG! So wrong. Man, HDN is the absolute worst front running coach in the history of college football. Dan Mullen is going to whip his tail all up and down Mississippi in recruiting. Rebel fans will be wailing and gnashing their teeth by the end of next year when Ole Miss returns to 6 – 6 or 5 – 7 when HDN has his own players and not Ed Orgerons. Good luck their Agent Chaos.

#12 Oklahoma State 0 @ Oklahoma 27
They don't call this rivalry Bedlam for nothing folks. Not one person in college football would have predicted that OU would shut out and completely shut down "I'm a MAN! I'm 40!" Honestly. Who saw this coming? Bob Stoops couldn't have even predicted this. Oh well, just goes to show how big of a sham the Little XII really is.

#18 Clemson 17 @ South Carolina 34
In the other ACC vs SEC matchup pitting the ACC conference game participant against a lower tier SEC team, guess who got the better of this one? Yep. The SEC. I am sorry folks, but until you actually have to go through the brutal schedules that SEC schools have year in and year out in the conference, you don't fully understand how difficult this conference is. The SEC truly is the minor league for the NFL. Period. End of story. No debate.

Give the Score (tie-breaker)
Arkansas 30 @ #15 LSU 33
1:18. 78 seconds. That is all the time the Hog defense had to stop the LSU offense. Just hold them from getting in FG range and you win in Baton Rouge for the second consecutive time. But, one horrible call by an official ruling the LSU RB getting out of bounds, and then a wide right kick from the RIGHT HASH (for the love of God someone listen to me when I say Tejada can NOT kick from that hash!!! PLEASE!!!!) and the Tigers escape with a win they should have never had. The loss may have cost the Hogs the Capital One or at the very least the Cotton Bowl. Lord it is frustrating!!!

Brick of the Week (BOTW)

This week, there really wasn't one clear cut pick that stood out as being the worst pick of the week. However, there were two games that qualified for POTW honors and therefore, we will take one of those and give 19 of the 20 contestants for the week the BOTW for the West Virginia vs Pitt game. Only Mr. Jamey "Must be Witten's Turn" Vaught correctly picked the Mountaineers to win. Therefore, everyone else, you know who you are, you get the BOTW award for Week 13. Enjoy it and wear it like a badge of honor!

Pick of the Week (POTW)

As I stated there were two potential candidates for POTW and I gave one of those to the entire board as the BOTW. Therefore, the other one will go to our POTW contestant. I wouldn't have given this team any chance to score 14 points in their week's game against their in-state rival. However, not only did they score 41!!! But they walked all over their in-state rival to the delight of every red-blooded Razorback fan. Therefore, the POTW goes to Mr. Jerry "Agent of Chaos goes down!" Tucker for his pick of Mississippi State over Hootie and the Rebels. Congratulations my friend.

Champion of the Week (COTW)

Wow. What a brutal, brutal week for everyone. The average number correct was 4.5 out of 10 for the 20 contestants who submitted picks. Holy cow that has to be a record low. Don't remember it ever being below 5 before. There were two individuals who were able to correctly navigate the week and get 7, yes 7! correct for the most for the week. Their tie-break scores were 12 and get this, 3, THREE! Both of them picked the LSU win over Arkansas in OT. Therefore, the winner of Week 13 and the COTW goes to Mr. Gene "Would rather Arkansas won!" Strode. His final score pick was 32 – 28 LSU. Amazing!

#16 Oregon State 28 @ #7 Oregon 40
Several things working against the Beavers tonight. 1) It is at night. 2) It is at Autzen Stadium. 3) 113. This is the 113 meeting of the Civil War. In none of the other 112 times has the winner of this game determined the Rose Bowl representative from the PAC-10. The. Ducks. Will. Roll.

Saturday, December 5
#5 Cincinnati 31 @ #15 Pittsburgh 24
Too bad the Panthers couldn't win the Backyard Brawl. It would have made even more drama for the Big East this weekend. Ah well. Cincy is just too good. However, will the distractions of South Bend coming to call on Brian Kelly be just enough to tilt to the favor of Pitt? I don't think so. This is just another resume padder for Kelly. Before he heads to South Bend.

#21 Houston 34 @ East Carolina 38
For all of his ballyhooed numbers this year, it won't be Keenum who lets down the Cougs in this game. It will be the Achilles' heel it has had all year … Defense. East Carolina and Pinkney will expose it from the first series and just keep on moving. The Pirates have just enough D to make enough stops to win …. again!

#23 West Virginia 21 @ Rutgers 17
Will the emotion from last week's win for the Mountaineers carry over to New Jersey? I think so. West Virginia has been on the verge of breaking out all year and that win could be just what it needed to end the year strong. Question is, will they settle for a Florida Bowl against Florida State in Bobby Bowden's swan song??

Arizona 17 @ #18 USC 12
USC has been exposed all year long for not having very good offense. If Damian Williams doesn't play again, then the "Desert Swarm 2009″ will shut down the Trojans … again. They won't have to score many, and for the first time in a long, long, long time, the Trojans won't finish in the Top 25. Wow!!!

#19 California 31 @ Washington 24
In Jake Locker's last home game, the Huskies will put up a valiant fight. However, they just won't have enough over one of the most complete PAC-10 teams right now. Can you believe the PAC-10 has 5 teams ranked in the top 25?? Yeah, me neither. Either WAY overrated (more than likely) or everyone else is just down this year. Either way the Bears beat the Huskies.

#3 Texas 28 @ #22 Nebraska 17
Texas will win, but it won't be the blow out many predict. For one, if Bo Polini has watched ANY tape of Texas, then if he has the mental capacity above a 4th grader, he should be able to realize, if you take out Jordan Shipley, Texas is dead on offense. Colt McCoy is good, but if he doesn't have his roomie to throw to, well, he is just average at best. Texas was also leaky on defense giving up 39 … 39!!! to A&M. Texas will play for the BCS Championship, but boy they don't deserve to.

#10 Georgia Tech 35 @ Clemson 17
Wow! Could either of these teams have laid bigger eggs last weekend? Tech losing at home to UGA. Clemson getting totally dominated by the Ol Ball coach. I mean, wow. Just wow. So, who really cares about this game? Dabo Sweeney's family and some crazy Wrambling Wreck fans I suppose. Everyone else will be decorating for the holidays.

South Florida 20 @ UConn 31
After being so close for so many weeks, the Huskies finally got their upset. Strolling into South Bend and knocking off the Irish and sending Pear Bryant to an early retirement from college football. Brian Kelly's pay grade is about to go up. ;) So, this week, the emotion will be running high as they take the field for their final home game to pay tribute to their fallen teammate. The Bulls don't stand a chance.

Tie-Break (Give the Score)
#1 Florida 23 vs #2 Alabama 17
The story this week has been Carlos Dunlap and just how much alcohol does it take for a 6′5″ 290 DE to get so drunk he falls asleep in his car .. at a stoplight?? I mean, really?? He will get to sleep it off from the sidelines on Saturday, in street clothes. It doesn't matter though. Touchdown Timmy will still be playing, right? That is all that matters here. If defense does win championships, flip a coin. Total Defense ranking : Florida #1 Alabama #3. So, um, yeah. Timmy cements his legacy and will move on to win his 3rd BCS Champoinship in 4 years, and his 2nd Heisman. He really is probably the greatest college football player in our generation if not all time.

Picks are due by 7:00 PM CST Thursday, December 3, 2009!

Thursday, December 3
#16 Oregon State @ #7 Oregon (PAC-10 vs PAC-10)

Saturday, December 5
#5 Cincinnati @ #15 Pittsburgh (Big East de-facto Championship)
#21 Houston @ East Carolina (C-USA vs C-USA)
#23 West Virginia @ Rutgers (Big East vs Big East)
Arizona @ #18 USC (PAC-10 vs PAC-10)
#19 California @ Washington (PAC-10 vs PAC-10)
#3 Texas @ #22 Nebraska (Little XII Championship)
#10 Georgia Tech @ Clemson (ACC Championship)
South Florida @ UConn (Big East vs Big East)

Tie-Break (Give the Score)
#1 Florida vs #2 Alabama (SEC Championship)

#3 Texas 31 @ Texas A&M 21
This game is always the total opposite of how you expect it. For example, how has aTm won 2 of the last 3 when they were totally out talented and out manned? No idea. This one will be close again simply because of the rivalry and College Station. Look for McCoy and Shipley to have big days, again, against another porous pass defense.

Illinois 17 @ #5 Cincinnati 35
The Bearcats are just too good this year and Ron Zook has started his usual program tailspin now in his 4th year in Champagne. Look for the Bearcats to control the line of scrimmage and hit big play after big play. One step closer and setting up a show down next weekend against Pitt for the Big East title.

#2 Alabama 31 @ Auburn 10
The Iron Bowl has turned in the Tide's favor the last two years. Auburn has found some offense this year, but they haven't played a defense like Bama's all year. Bama is better than Florida this year as a complete team. Look for the Bama D to control this game.

#9 Pittsburgh 24 @ West Virginia 20
The 102nd playing of the Backyard Brawl will be a great one. Although the Big East won't be decided in this game, don't tell anyone in Morgantown that. They will be sky high looking for a chance to exact some revenge for past upsets at the hands of the Panthers. They would love nothing more than to knock Pitt from the ranks of the unbeaten in the Big East and spoil their next week showdown with Cincy.

Nebraska 27 @ Colorado 10
Big plays have killed the Buffs all year long and look for that trend to continue this weekend in Boulder. The Buffs will give up two TDs of at LEAST 40 yards in this game and Suh and the Husker D will dominate. The Buffs will have some typical Hawkins trick plays, but the D will be ready for them.

Georgia 24 @ #7 Georgia Tech 35
This one could be ugly and in a hurry. If the UGA D can't stop the run, and Nesbit and Co are running like clockwork, then it will be a long day for UGA. The only saving grace could be that the Tech pass D is so horrible. That will keep it close.

#25 Ole Miss 28 @ Mississippi State 17
Ole Miss is peaking at season's end once again this year. Too bad they couldn't live up to those pre-season expectations. Typical for a Hootie team though. Have to be the underdog before you can win on emotion alone.

#12 Oklahoma State 24 @ Oklahoma 17
Zac Robinson is supposed to play. That is good news for the Cowboys. Landry Jones is supposed to play for the Sooners. Still not sure if that is good or bad new for them. The Sooners are a totally different team at home this year. OSU is a totally different team with Robinson under center. Should be good for Bedlam.

#18 Clemson 28 @ South Carolina 20
C J Spiller is playing like a man possessed right now for the Tigers. The Cocky defense will be good, but not good enough to slow down the Tigers. It will be close for a while, but in the end, just too much Spiller.

Arkansas 35 @ #15 LSU 24
The passing arm of Ryan Mallett for the Hogs is getting into full swing these past couple of weeks. Look for that trend to continue. If the Tigers can't get pressure on Mallett it will be a huge post-Thanksgiving feast for the Hog signal caller. Jefferson will be pressured all day by the Hogs front line and in the end, the Tigers won't be able to recover from Les "Spike" Miles blunders in Oxford last week. Hogs are pickin Cotton!

#10 Ohio State 21 @ Michigan 10
A once promising season comes to a disastrous end for RichRod in Michigan amid claims of Tate Forcier being academically ineligible … yes, claims made by RichRod! On National TV!!! And oh yeah, the Buckeyes win the Big 10 again. A glorified high school conference.

North Carolina 31 @ Boston College 13
Defense was the name of the game and in this game, the Tarheels had more. They also had the best semblance of an offense as well. Jumping out to a 21 – 0 lead didn't hurt on the road. Sitting at 8 – 3 would be awesome, if you didn't play in the ACC.

Mississippi State 21 @ Arkansas 42
Three game win streak. Check. Another 5 TD game for Mallett. Check. Single season TD record. Check. Tons of momentum heading to Death Valley. Check. Bobby Petrino is just getting warmed up in Fayetteville. If the Hogs win their last 2 games (LSU and Bowl game) look for Ryan Mallett to be Heisman front runner next year.

Oklahoma 13 @ Texas Tech 41
How bad is the Little XII? After Saturday, they had two teams in the Top 25. One struggled at home against a 3-win team. The other plays high school opponents tougher than Kansas. OU had no clue what hit them in Lubbock. Tech isn't that good. OU is just THAT bad.

#8 LSU 23 @ Ole Miss 25
Les "Spike" Miles is quite possibly the only coach who could upstage Charlie Weis. I mean losing at home to UConn is one thing, but losing on the road, in a conference game, because you think you can spike the ball in less than a second is beyond anything I have ever seen. I am still in shock over that clock management.

#11 Oregon 44 @ Arizona 41 2OT
Wow. This one was a game for the ages. A TD with 0:08 left ties the game for Oregon. Then in OT the Wildcats just couldn't stop Masoli. His TD from the one setup a battle royale in Corvalis 12/3 to determine the PAC-10 winner. Oregon vs Oregon State. WOW!

Kansas State 3 @ Nebraskas 17
So the winner of the right to play Texas in the Little XII Championship game goes to Nebraska. The Cornhuskers completely shut down Kansas State and will now try to derail the Shorthorns BCS Championship hopes. Good luck with the Husker Nation.

Kansas 20 @ #3 Texas 51
Can they get by their arch rivals Texas A&M?? Will the Aggies pull the monumental upset? The game is in College Station. The Aggies have won 2 of the last 3 against the Teasippers. But with a pass defense ranked 110th out of 112 teams, can they even begin to slow down Jordan Shipley? If so, they win. Period.

#14 Penn State 42 @ Michigan State 14
Wow. Daryll Clark picked a great game to have his best game as a Nitny Lion. Clark threw for 310 yards and 4 TD. All of them in the 3rd quarter as the Nitny Lions steamrolled the hapless Spartans. Considering 10 – 2 a great season in the Big 10 is like Notre Dame considering Charlie Weis to be the savior coach. Hi-larious.

Give the Score (tie-breaker)
#25 California 34 @ #17 Stanford 28
Did anyone else know that Cal had a defense? Yeah, me neither. How in the world did they ever stop Toby Gerhart. Well, they didn't really. He had 136 yards and 4 TD. The Stanford Defense however forgot to leave the Coliseum. They couldn't slow down Shane Vereen.

Brick of the Week (BOTW)

Okay, so the average correct picks were 6.4 out of 10. Not bad. But not all that hot either. There were three games were each contestant correctly picked the winner. One game had 19 of the 21 picking it correctly. So, that one will serve up or BOTW. That was the Ohio State @ Michigan game. In that game, two individuals thought RichRod and the Wolverines would rise above and knock off Sweater Vest and win in the Big House. Um, no. Not exactly. And for that, these two will win the BOTW. They are Mr. Brian "Bring on the turkey" Mashburn and Mr. Travis "This ain't your momma's potato casserole!" Stout.

Pick of the Week (POTW)

I am so glad that this individual picked this game. Otherwise we would have been in a world of hurt. One person correctly picked the stunning upset of Cal over Stanford. I mean, who knew Cal could even slow down Gerhart. Or that Stanford's defense wouldn't show up at all. Either way, this person did. And for that they were the clear cut winner this week of the POTW. That goes to none other than Mr. Alex "I will take it since Boomer Sooner doesn't travel to Lubbock" Rowland. Congratulations my friend. I would say sorry about the Sooners, but you know I wouldn't mean it.

Champion of the Week (COTW)

It very well could have happened in the past, but honestly, right now I just don't ever remember it happening. Of all the individuals who tied for the win in picks this week, not ONE of them correctly picked the winner of the tie-break game. That would mean that we had to implement Rule 120 Section 21 Part 3 Sub-Rule 12 which states, in the event that none of the ties correctly picked the tie-breaker game, the tie-break score will still be used to determine the winner for the week. So, we moved to the tie-break score. And for that, we will arrive at our COTW for Week 12. That would be none other than Mr. Steven "Guns Up! Red Raiders in the Hizzy!" Leija with his 10 for a tie-break score. Congratulations BFAM!

#25 West Virginia 21 @ #5 Cincinnati 24
Bearcats take a big step closer to that coveted Big East title and a spot in the Orange Bowl. Can they finish the season without Pike? If so, can they do it undefeated?

#7 Georgia Tech 49 @ Duke 10
After falling behind 10 – 0 the Wreck decided they were ready to play and went on a 49 – 0 run to steam roll the Duke Blue Devils. They clinched the ACC Coastal with this win and a trip to the ACC Championship game.

Tennessee 17 @ Mississippi 42
Some day someone will figure out that defending Ole Miss starts and ends with stopping McCluster. How difficult can that possibly be? I mean honestly?

#1 Florida 24 @ South Carolina 14
The Gators continue to roll along winning their 20th consecutive game. They also secured their spot in the SEC Championship game against Alabama. Rematch time for them.

#10 Iowa 24 @ #11 Ohio State 27 OT
It took OT, but the Buckeyes were able to secure the Big 10 title outright. This will be the Buckeyes first Rose Bowl trip since 1997. They continue to get into BCS bowls. HOW?????

Troy 20 @ Arkansas 56
The Hogs win their 5th straight game in the state and their offense continues to roll up massive amounts of yardage and points. Mallett shattered the single season passing record during the game … and he has three games to go.

Notre Dame 22 @ #12 Pittsburgh 27
Pitt continued to hold up its end of the bargain and making the potential for two undefeated Big East teams to play the final game of the regular season. Cincy and Pitt should be a GREAT matchup.

Texas Tech 17 @ #19 Oklahoma State 24
Tech didn't win this battle, but they may have helped other Little XII teams when they knocked Robinson completely loopy near the end of the game. Probably won't be back for Colorado, but hopefully for the Cowboys' sake he is back for Bedlam.

Stanford 55 @ #9 USC 21
Yeah, that score is NOT wrong. In the Coliseum, the PAC-10 power Trojans were taken out behind the woodshed. Up 48 – 21, Stanford goes for 2. I LOVE IT!!!!

#16 Utah 28 @ #4 TCU 55
Don't get me wrong, TCU is probably a very, very good team. However, when you play SMU, UNLV, San Diego State, and Wyoming, and they count as conference wins, you really aren't going to impress me much. Sorry.

Brick of the Week (BOTW)

Lots of great picks again this week. However, as is the usual, one of those picks stood out as being very inept. That would have been the pick for Utah to upend TCU and end their BCS hopes. Instead, that didn't exactly go the way the Utes had planned. They were humiliated by 27 points and they really won't ever even in the game. So, for being the only individual to give the Utes a chance, this individual gets the BOTW. Sorry bud, but it goes to Mr. Jonathan "Please, anyone but Charlie Weis. Please!!!" Butcher.

Pick of the week (POTW)

There could have been 17 people actually receive the BOTW but instead that gets flopped around and therefore 5 people get POTW honors for correctly picking this one. Who know that Papa Kiffin would have no freaking clue how to stop or even slow down Dexter McCluster and the Ole Miss Rebels. They looked worse than Arkansas trying to defend Ole Miss, and that is NOT a good thing. Therefore, for being in love with Hootie, the following get the POTW, Mr. Ben "Just call me Wild Rebel" Gilbert, Mr. Carroll "They won DESPITE Hootie" Walls, Mr. Brian "Rebels are better than Volunteers, right?" Mashburn, Mrs. Tammy "I am not sure why I picked Ole Miss" Tucker, and Mr. Travis "Never cheer for anyone wearing putrid orange." Stout. Congratulations.

Champion of the Week (COTW)

We had three individuals who correctly picked 9 of the 10 games this week. That is pretty impressive considering the gauntlet of games on the docket. No one. I repeat NO ONE game Stanford a chance in the Coliseum. Who knew right? Well, that lead us to the tie-breaker. It almost had to go to sudden death on that one even. The winner this week won by the slimmest of margins. 1 tie-break point. Yep 1 POINT! The COTW for Week 11 is none other than Mr. Carroll "Starting to get the hang of this contest" Walls. Congratulations my friend.
