Well, honestly, neither did I.
Here is a condensed form of the results for the 7th week.

Brick of the Week

To say that it was a rough week for the pick-em would have been an embarrassing understatement. The average correct out of the ten games for the 19 contestants was a paltry 4.89!! I don't remember it ever being that low before. However, with all of that futility, there was one individual who rose above the heap and takes top honors. The honor is awarded for his pick of Wisconsin to end their misery in the Big 10(1) and upend might Penn State. Alas, they did not and since he was the only one thinking this way, Mr Jason "It is just a mid-season swoon. I will recover." Shirey receives the BOTW.

Pick of the Week

As I have stated time and time again on this contest, there is an extremely thin line that one walks between being the BOTW and the POTW. Sometimes those lines will even cross one another in the same week by the same contestant. That is precisely what happened this week. With all of the upsets though, it was bound to have happened. This individual correctly picked that the Fighting Crooms would rise up and end the unbeaten streak of the Dores. And they did. Therefore, the POTW goes to Mr. Jason "See, just a swoon." Shirey. Congratulations my friend.

Champion of the Week

In a week of such futility, there is yet still someone who correctly picked more games than anyone else. Always happens doesn't it? Odd that it is that way. However, there was an actual tie with two people correctly picking 7 games. However, one of the individuals did not correctly pick the Tie Break game and therefore, the token of COTW falls to the other might contestant. Therefore, the COTW for Week 7 of the Pick-Em is none other than Mr. Brian "It is about time" Mashburn. Congratulations B-I-L!!!
